Since back in 2009 there were only 2-3 hotels of this level in Baku, President Ilham Aliyev took this moment into account in his infrastructure policy. 2011 was marked by the Year of Tourism, and in the middle of 2012 the opening of one of the most beautiful hotel in the city - the JW Marriott Absheron hotel took place. The hotel combines the architecture of the east and the west, the rooms are made in the simplicity inherent in the city of Baku. The Hilton Worldwide hotel chain and its owner, Hilton Worldwide, has been offering people traveling for business and leisure for 92 years, excellent hotels, services, and recreation areas. During the construction of the hotel, elements of national and foreign architecture were professionally combined. "EVRASCON" Corporation acted as a subcontractor and assumed responsibility for the installation of 120D / 100 D bored piles. The chief architect and developer of Baku towers is Vice President of HOK company Barry Hughes. Hughes considers Flame Towers to be one of his most difficult projects, and this is connected with the challenges that the Baku nature has periodically thrown to him.Today, these towers are the hallmark of Baku, and, according to officials, a legacy for future residents of our city, or rather, the eternal symbol of Azerbaijan.

The project of the center was developed in 2007 by the famous architect Zaha Hadid. In 2014, it was recognized as the best building in the world and received the award "The Design of the Year". The construction of the building was covered in one of the international editions of the program dedicated to the most daring engineering projects of the present and architectural masterpieces of the world. High-rise residential buildings “Port Baku Residence” were erected next to the office buildings of Port Baku Towers on Neftchilik Avenue in Baku, near the passenger sea port.
